Canadian Orders
Shipments within Canada are by Expedited and/or Xpress Post. They will be marked as "CARD FOR PICKUP". This means that Canada Post will leave a card at your door informing you that the package is at the Post Office. The reason we use "CARD FOR PICKUP" is that some of our customers have informed us that Canada Post has left packages at their door, in the rain and in the open, even after we've marked the package as "DO NOT SAFE DROP". Picking up at the post office insures that your package does not get stolen off your front porch or damaged by weather.
If you want Canada Post to leave the package at your door, please inform us when you pay for the order. Please note that if you request that Canada Post leave the package at your door, we will not be held liable for any packages that go missing or are damaged by weather.
Large items may be shipped by Fed Ex Ground.
US Orders
All shipments to the United States are by Canada Post and usually sent AIR. On occasion, especially when the package is large, U.S. shipments will be sent Expedited Parcel.
International Orders
Shipments to countries other than Canada and the U.S.are sent by Canada Post air EXCEPT when the shipping and handling cost exceeds $40.00. At that point, the package is shipped by surface parcel due to the weight and size of the box. If you wish to have it shipped air, the shipping calculator has an option to purchase Express Freight for a 7 day delivery window (7 days after we ship it.)
